Sex Therapy

You’re allowed to want more.

Whether it’s deeper intimacy, less anxiety, or healing from shame, sex therapy creates space for your story, your body, and your needs.

What is Sex Therapy?

Sex therapy integrates interventions from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFCT and EFIT), and education, homework, and exercises you practice at home. I approach sex therapy from a feminist therapy lens—reducing shame, deconstructing unhelpful messaging about sex, and redefining what sex and sexuality mean to you.

Sex therapy is for everyone—from people exploring sexuality to postpartum moms to couples navigating sexual trauma. My goal is for you to find freedom in sexual liberation.

Sex therapy themes I’m passionate about are:

  • Strengthening communication about sex in relationships

  • Processing sexual trauma and childhood sexual abuse

  • LGBTQIA+ relationships

  • Gender expression and exploration

  • Sexuality and sexual orientation

  • Desire discrepancies (one partner wants more/less sex than the other)

  • Changes in libido and sexual interests

  • Kink, BDSM, and polyamorous relationships

Sex Therapy Interventions

Using proven sex therapy techniques, I work with you to address concerns such as performance anxiety, desire challenges, or sexual dysfunction. These interventions focus on creating a deeper understanding of your sexuality, overcoming barriers to intimacy, and fostering a more fulfilling sexual connection.

Education & Awareness

Sexual health education is often a key component of therapy. Many sexual issues stem from a lack of knowledge, misinformation, or cultural stigmas. I provide accurate, accessible information about anatomy, sexual response, and healthy intimacy, empowering you to feel more confident and connected in your sexual life.
